How is my data, location, and “vibe” input used?

Location is opt-in per session — pin-by-pin, only while you’re actively planning — and turns off the moment the chat closes or you reach your destination. We never share precise coordinates with venues, advertisers, or anyone outside your account. The freeform “vibe” text you send the Host (crowd type, dress code, the mood you want) is used only to tune tonight’s recommendations and to learn what your group responds to over time. It is never sold, never shared with partner venues, and you can wipe it any time from your account settings. Everything Velvane stores is tied to your account. Delete the account and every row — itinerary history, vibe notes, the lot — leaves with it. Until account Settings ships, ask us to delete anything by emailing the team below and we will do it the same day.

How does the plan adapt in real time — can I trust the recommendations?

The Host keeps one running conversation; behind it, four specialists — Scene Scout, Weather Warden, Transit Whisperer, and Deal Hunter — each watch a live signal stream (events, conditions, outages, walk-in promos). When a signal shifts, the relevant agent raises an objection and the crew argues it out before the plan updates. A surprise downpour or a stalled subway reroutes the group before anyone gets wet — the warden or whisperer will flip the next reservation to a covered spot two miles away and push the change by push, SMS, or voice. A walk-in promo surfacing at one of your shortlist venues gets surfaced mid-chat so you can grab it before it disappears. No plan is auto-final. Every itinerary shows the last-recomputed timestamp, the signals that drove it, and a one-tap override whenever you disagree. Trust earns its way — the crew shows its work.

Who is Velvane actually built for?

Anyone 21–45 in a resurgent nightlife market who is tired of deciding where to go before the night has even started — the kind of person currently juggling OpenTable, Resy, a weather app, a transit map, and a deal feed the moment their group commits to going out. Single-night planners (date, with friends, after-work drinks), group organizers running a 4–10-person night, and itinerary power users booking dinners-plus-shows-plus-afterparties all fit the same crew. Anyone outside that window — families, brunch crowds, under-21 — is a future product, not today’s. If you live in a market we’re not in yet, drop on the waitlist anyway — your city’s waitlist count is part of how we decide where Velvane opens next.

Free, Plus, and Premium all run on the same crew and the same four live signal streams — no upsell to a “better” orchestration. The tiers separate volume, group depth, and itinerary richness: Free covers casual single-night planners; Plus unlocks heavier bookers and group coordination; Premium is for power-user groups, events, and multi-stop itineraries. Pricing is intentionally below premium night-out concierges — never priced like a black-car service. How do I cancel, and what happens to my data?

Once billing ships, cancel from inside account Settings in two clicks — no phone call, no retention loop. Until then, email the address below and we will cancel and confirm the same day, no cancellation fee, no question. Your data stays exportable on request. A signed-in user can get a full export of their plans, vibe notes, and reservations; after that, deletion is permanent and irreversible. You are never locked in, and never charged for time you didn’t use.
